Campus President’s Message:

Welcome to the Downtown Campus home page. Downtown Campus is a comprehensive campus offering education and training programs that span the entire gamut. At Downtown, you can earn an associate in arts degree that allows you to transfer to a university to earn a bachelor’s degree. You can enroll in one of Downtown’s many associate in science or associate in applied science degree programs that lead to a challenging and rewarding career. But that’s not all you can do at Downtown Campus. We also offer career certificate programs that lead to promising careers like networking, child care, heating and air conditioning and electricity. You can also earn your high school diploma or learn how to speak and read English if you are from another country. That’s still not all. Downtown campus offers a wide variety of continuing education courses that can help you upgrade your workplace skills.

Just as important as the programs we offer at the campus are the quality services available to assist you on your journey to your goal. Your first stop at our campus will be at Enrollment Services. Then, we encourage you to visit our Career Development Center. Don’t forget about our exceptional Learning Center and Library. These services will help you achieve your career and educational goals.

We are a campus that not only boasts of diversity in programs from its high tech programs offered at the Advanced Technology Center, to its Trade and Industry programs and rich Liberal Arts instruction, but we also have a diversity student population with more than 109 different countries represented in our student population. We take great pride each year in offering an engaging International Festival that celebrates our campus’ diversity. And, our Jubilee Singers will rock your soul with music from the south and around the world.
