Instruction and Faculty

The Deerwood Center offers all courses leading to the associate in arts degree. This degree is designed for students who plan to complete their freshman and sophomore years of college at Florida Community College and then transfer as juniors to four-year colleges or universities. Students in this program primarily take general education requirements including English, mathematics, humanities, natural and physical sciences, and social and behavioral science courses.

Professors are experts in their academic fields and hold either a master’s degree, doctoral degree or both. In addition to teaching classes, faculty are available to assist students with private conferences during office hours.
