: An excellent resource on how to analyze your information needs, phrase your search,  and select the best search engine for the job.

: This site is a free virtual library resource center for educators and students, librarians and their patrons, families, businesses and just about anyone exploring the Web for valuable research information.
Infomine
: This site is a virtual library of Internet resources relevant to faculty, students, and research staff at the university level. It contains useful Internet resources like databases, electronic journals, electronic books, bulletin boards, mailing lists, online library card catalogs, articles, directories of researchers, and many other types of information.
Kartoo
: Kartoo is a meta search engine which presents its results on a map. As soon as you launch a search, Kartoo analyses your request, questions the most relevant engines, selects the best sites and places them on a map. On this map, when you move the pointer over a ‘ball,’ the description of the site is displayed.
