At Florida Community College, we offer a diverse program of intercollegiate athletics. At South Campus, we offer basketball (men’s and women’s), tennis (women’s) and volleyball (women’s), and at North Campus you will find baseball and softball. Florida Community College students, employees and their families can attend athletics events for free. It is recommended that you show your FCCJ ID card.
Students may participate in the collegewide intercollegiate athletic program regardless of the campus where they attend classes. Students interested in participation should contact the coach or the director of athletics and physical education.
Florida Community College is a member of the Mid–Florida Conference of the Florida Community College Activities Association and the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Every spring, the Florida Community College Golf Classic is held in an effort to provide scholarship assistance to the Stars student athletes. Each year, over one hundred individuals and forty businesses come together to participate in a day of great golf and fellowship. The 2008 Golf Classic produced over $50,000 in scholarship funds to enhance the Athletic Department.
We also offer both group and individualized intramural/recreational activities. Activities include flag football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, tennis, bowling, table tennis, horseshoes, billiards and golf.
